IE1000-8P2S-LM Switch Overview
The Cisco Industrial Ethernet (IE) 1000 Series Switches are compact, rugged devices designed for operational technology (OT) users with limited IT network knowledge. These IE 1000 Series Switches simplify the transition from legacy factory systems to modern digital solutions, offering an attractive entry-level product for machine builders and machine-to-machine (M2M) solutions. The IE 1000 is ideal for environments with harsh temperatures and small spaces, providing PoE+ capability with zero IT management. With max forwarding bandwidth of 2.8Gbps and max switching bandwidth of 5.6Gbps, the IE1000-8P2S-LM model delivers reliable performance. It features 128 MB DDR2 DRAM and 160 MB flash memory, and supports an alarm I/O output connector for added functionality. Power consumption is efficient, with 10.6W without PoE and 134.4-205.2W with PoE.
