Basic Policy

  1. For enterprise-level products that experience defects due to product quality under normal use, Network-switch.com offers a limited warranty within the 3-year warranty period.
  2. Consumer devices have a one-year warranty, with standard accessories covered alongside the main product. Separate accessories purchased independently will have their own original warranty.

If the issue is determined to be hardware-related, our after-sales engineers will direct you to the appropriate service center for assistance.   5. The product warranty period follows the terms announced by Network-switch.com. For detailed warranty information (including period and level), please refer to the content below. The specific warranty details for each product are based on Network-switch.com’s system records.

Detailed policy

  1. Please retain the product warranty card and the invoice (or a copy) issued by our company. These documents will be required as proof of warranty during any maintenance service.

  2. The warranty period for the product begins on the invoice date. However, if the invoice date is later than the delivery date from Network-switch.com, the delivery date will be considered the warranty start date for that product.

  3. The grace period refers to the time between the product’s shipment from the factory and its final delivery. Different products may have varying grace periods, but the maximum grace period will not exceed two months.

  4. On-site service is not available in certain countries or regions. In these cases, Network-switch.com offers remote support or return-to-origin maintenance. For countries or regions with geographical barriers, undeveloped roads, or limited public transport, maintenance services may require additional negotiation and will be subject to a surcharge.

  5. Any repaired product will continue to be covered under the warranty for the remainder of the warranty period. If the warranty expires within three months, any replaced spare parts will have a three-month warranty starting from the date of replacement.

  6. Replaced spare parts remain the property of Network-switch.com.

  7. Users are solely responsible for the security of their data. Before sending the product for maintenance, users should back up their data and programs. Network-switch.com and the NSCare Service Center are not responsible for any data loss, program damage, or storage media issues during maintenance.

RMA Policy

Customers must return defective products in accordance with the terms outlined in the applicable product warranty or hardware support contract. Upon notification from Network-switch.com confirming the RMA policy, the customer is required to return the defective parts or equipment based on the return instructions provided by Network-switch.com.

During the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process, Network-switch.com must receive the defective parts or equipment within 10 calendar days. If the customer has received replacement parts but fails to return the defective item (and provide the correct quantity and serial number within 20 calendar days), or if the returned item is received after 20 calendar days, Network-switch.com reserves the right to:

  • Charge the customer the full list price (excluding discounts) for any unreturned parts.
  • Reduce or deny further service until the parts are returned or payment is made for the unreturned items.

Exceptions

The following situations are not covered under the warranty:

  • Products, parts, or spare parts not supplied by Network-switch.com, or those replaced by users themselves, including spare parts not purchased from Network-switch.com or its authorized partners.

  • Routine cleaning or general maintenance of the product.

  • Consumable items (e.g., shell, natural wear and tear, aging or wear of connector parts).

  • Failures or damage caused by incorrect installation, improper operation (e.g., live plugging and unplugging of data cables), or use in environments not specified for the product (e.g., extreme temperatures, high or low humidity, high altitude, unstable voltage or current, or excessive ground voltage).

  • Damage due to accidents, misuse, or abuse (including overloading).

  • Damage resulting from improper storage (e.g., rodent damage, liquid exposure).

  • Malfunctions caused by the use of self-compiled or non-officially distributed software.

  • Computer viruses due to improper maintenance.

  • Failures or damage caused by installing non-standard expansion cards or functions.

  • Failures or damage due to unauthorized disassembly, repairs, modifications, or abuse.

  • Damage resulting from repairs carried out by unauthorized repair centers.

  • Failures or damage caused by man-made or natural disasters.
