Compared to the standard EI version, the EI-G variant features greater energy efficiency, lower heat output, and improved fanless / low-noise designs in some deployment modes. It supports the full L2/L2+ switching, L3-Lite IPv4/IPv6, ACL, QoS, and dynamic security capabilities needed for modern enterprise networks.
