Unlike AOCs, DACs use twinax copper cable assemblies with integrated SFP+ connectors, offering a plug-and-play alternative to optical transceivers and patch cords.
This DAC is available in passive designs up to 7 m (23 ft) and active versions up to 10 m (33 ft), enabling flexibility across in-rack and adjacent rack deployments. It supports hot-pluggable SFP+ interfaces, requires no additional power (passive < 0.1 W, active < 0.5 W), and provides consistent low-latency performance.
