The NS 100G QSFP28 to 4×25G SFP28 Direct Attach Copper Cable (DAC) is a high-density breakout copper solution for short-distance 100G to 4×25G Ethernet connections.
Featuring one QSFP28 connector on one end and four SFP28 connectors on the other, it enables 100G-to-25G port breakout for server uplinks, switch-to-switch connections, or aggregation nodes in top-of-rack (ToR) and middle-of-row (MoR) architectures.
Constructed with twinax copper cable, this DAC ensures ultra-low latency and eliminates the need for costly optical transceivers and fiber patch cords. The passive version supports up to 5 m (16 ft) with near-zero power consumption, while active DACs extend reach up to 7 m (23 ft) at < 1.5 W per end.
