The NSComm 800G OSFP Finned Top to 2¡Á400G QSFP112 Active Electrical Breakout Cable (AEC) is built for InfiniBand NDR clusters, enabling you to break out one 800G twin-port OSFP link into two 400G QSFP112 links. Unlike passive copper, AEC integrates active components and retimer chips to amplify and reshape PAM4 signals, reducing jitter and improving transmission quality-ideal for stable, high-speed AI/HPC fabrics.
Because NVIDIA InfiniBand is the market's mainstream for NDR-scale clusters, this AEC breakout is optimized for NVIDIA (IB) environments and is verified for common NVIDIA Quantum-2 switching and ConnectX-class adapter deployments. It supports 8¡Á100G PAM4 to dual 4¡Á100G PAM4 signaling, delivers ultra-low latency with low BER, and is designed for short-to-medium reach cabling up to 5m. The OSFP finned-top end adds cooling headroom for dense switch cages.
