The NSComm 800G OSFP Finned Top to 2¡Á400G OSFP Flat Top Active Electrical Breakout Cable (AEC) is a high-speed copper fanout solution that lets you split one 800G OSFP port into two 400G OSFP links for 800G/400G Ethernet short-to-medium reach connections. Unlike passive copper, this AEC integrates retimer chips to amplify and reshape PAM4 signals, helping reduce jitter and keeping the link stable at high data rates.
This product is designed primarily for NVIDIA Ethernet deployments-commonly used in AI data center networks-and is verified for NVIDIA SN5600 switches and NIC environments. For the rare cases where NVIDIA is not required, you can still keep one "Generic" option on your product page as a fallback. The OSFP finned-top end supports better heat dissipation in dense switch cages, while the OSFP flat-top ends fit adapter-style cages using riding heatsinks.
