Overview
The Cisco Catalyst C9200L-48PXG-2Y is a high-density multigigabit PoE+ access switch purpose-built for Wi-Fi 6/6E deployments, enterprise campus networks, smart buildings, and large-scale branch environments.
It features 48 PoE+ access ports, including 8 multigigabit ports (100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10G) and 40 Gigabit Ethernet ports, enabling full performance for high-throughput wireless access points, video surveillance systems, VoIP deployments, and IoT devices.
The switch integrates 2 x 1/10/25G SFP28 uplinks (backward compatible), delivering high-speed aggregation for core connectivity, data-intensive workloads, and latency-sensitive applications.
With a default PoE budget of 740W (expandable to 1440W with dual PSUs), it is ideal for dense AP deployments, IP cameras, smart retail systems, and industrial IoT environments.
Powered by the Cisco UADP 2.0 Mini ASIC and running Cisco IOS XE, the platform supports both Network Essentials and Network Advantage licenses, enabling scalable Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, segmentation, and automation.
