The RG-S5000-48GT4MS-E belongs to Ruijie’s Simplified Gigabit Switch (RG-S5000-E) Essentials series, tailored for enterprise and campus edge access. It offers 48 auto-negotiating 10/100/1000 BASE-T ports plus four fixed SFP slots supporting 1 GbE or 2.5 GbE modules, all housed in a silent, naturally-cooled, IP40 chassis.
As an L2+ switch, it supports static routing and RIP, Rapid Link Detection Protocol (RLDP) for unidirectional-link detection, and up to 10 kV common-mode surge protection on all ports.
Hardware CPU Protection Policy (CPP) and Network Foundation Protection Policy (NFPP) guard the control plane, while IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet ensures low power consumption.
