RG-N18006-X Switch Overview
The Ruijie RG-N18006-X is a powerful new modular coreswitch suitable for today's data centers and large-scale network environments. It has a 6-slot chassis (4 line cards and 2 supervisor modules), and supports many port types: 10GE, 40GE, 100GE, 200GE, 400GE. The RG-N18006-X is capable of switching capacity of 28.8 Tbps and a packet forwarding rate of 17,280 Mpps, ensuring efficient data processing and fast connectivity.
The no-midplane design and Clos orthogonal architecture provide higher efficiency in data transmission and lower latency. With advanced features including VXLAN tunneling, BGP-EVPN, and rich Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols support, an embedded Open vSwitch enables the easy integration of K8s with platforms in complex network topologies. RG-N18006-X provides hardware dual design, such as N+1 switch fabric module, M+N power modules and 1+1 supervisor modules, to make sure that the system runs without interruption and the services are reliable.
