The latest QFX systems are intended to support high-density RoCEv2 AI back-end networks with dynamic load balancing and congestion management. HPE and Oracle are also working on deeper telemetry for queue buildup, packet loss, traffic imbalance and component degradation. Tottenham Hotspur Moves Stadium Networking Toward Outdoor Wi-Fi 7 and Agentic Operations

HPE and Tottenham Hotspur announced a broader stadium infrastructure modernization on September 2. The deployment brings data center, campus and edge networking under one HPE Networking operations model managed through HPE Aruba Central.

The stadium is becoming one of the early large venues to deploy outdoor Wi-Fi 7, while ClearPass adds identity-based access controls. HPE says its self-driving network model will analyze user, application and network-experience data and take automated actions when problems are detected. The value is less about Wi-Fi 7 as a label and more about keeping high-density digital services stable during peak events.

NVIDIA Uses IFA 2026 to Push Local AI Across RTX PCs and Small Multi-PC Clusters

At IFA 2026, NVIDIA introduced new local-AI software and hardware updates centered on RTX systems. The company says new llama.cpp and vLLM optimizations can improve local inference performance, while RTX Spark Windows PCs are scheduled to arrive in October.

NVIDIA also introduced PAIR, an open-source Personal AI Router that discovers compatible computers on a local network and distributes independent inference requests to available systems. NVIDIA and CrowdStrike announced SafeMind at Fal.Con 2026 on September 1. SafeMind is an agentic cybersecurity system built with CrowdStrike security data and NVIDIA Nemotron open models.

CrowdStrike says the system combines defensive models, agent harnesses and continuous offensive-versus-defensive testing. Broadcom reported on September 2 that fiscal third-quarter AI semiconductor revenue reached $16.7 billion, up 221% from the previous year and 54% from the prior quarter.

Broadcom attributed the growth to strong demand for custom AI accelerators and networking, and expects AI semiconductor revenue to reach $21.7 billion in the following quarter. The numbers underline the growing role of custom silicon and network components beside general-purpose GPUs in hyperscale AI systems.

Arista Brings AI and Data Center Networking to Australia Events

Arista's September calendar included AUSNOG 2026 in Brisbane on September 3-4 and Data Centre World Australia in Melbourne on September 7-9. The latter began on September 7, placing Arista directly in the regional discussion around data center infrastructure and AI networking.

Arista's current technical event program emphasizes high-performance 800G platforms, EOS, CloudVision, NetDL, automation and unified operating models for modern data centers.
